Reverend Emma Soy Bio
Pastor Emma Soy is the founder and visionary behind the Women Seeking the Father Conference.
This vision evolved out of Emma's personal longing to build a relationship with her biological father.
Although she yearned for love and connection with an earthly dad, she didn't actually meet her own father
until she was an adult. Devastatingly enough, upon their meeting, she was irrefutably humiliated and
rejected.
The absence of a father figure in her life triggered emotional emptiness throughout her childhood
and manifested itself in the form of poor eating habits and bad financial decisions as a young
adult.
For years she battled fibromyalgia, a syndrome characterized by fatigue, tenderness and
chronic pain in the muscles and soft tissues surrounding joints. Low self-esteem drove her to
retreat from the world, finding comfort only in isolation.
Finally, the grace of God prevailed. This ministry, birthed out of a passion and desire to help bring healing to others, became her own miracle.
Emma Soy is a wife, mother, ordained minister, registered nurse, published author, and coach with a passion for healing the hearts and souls of the sick.
Emma Soy is happily married to Mecene Soy. They have been married for nearly
30 years and have been in ministry together for over 20. They have two adult sons, Andrew and Tyler,
who play vital roles in various areas of the ministry. As a family and as a ministry, they are
devoted to the unassuming, yet powerful, movement that calls Christian women to embrace God as
their Heavenly Father and to seek His heart first above all else through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
